Engr. Isaac Ojiako U. Okafor (MNSE, MNimechE, KSM)

B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology

Engr. Isaac Ojiako U. Okafor is a Deputy Director and the head of Department of manufacturing services, Electronic Development institute, Awka, NASENI, Presidency. He obtained a bachelor of engineering degree in mechanical engineering from university of Nigeria Nsukka and a postgraduate diploma in information technology from National open university of Nigeria. His area of interest span through computer aided design (CAD) and simulation, advanced manufacturing technologies, PCB production, wielding and fabrication, surface finishing. He contributed so much to the prototypes and product of the institute and had won prizes for the design and development of film reversing machine and plate making, two star products of the institute in 1997/1998. He has trained a lot of industrial trainees from various universities and polytechnics. He is presently the external project examiner at federal polytechnic, Oko. He is a COREN registered engineer, a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE). He has the virtues of hard work, target oriented, stands for the truth, compassionate, humble and respects people.
